The Diameters Offset can produce three types of layout

A Seam Rotation not equal 0° or 180° requires second layout with 180° added to rotation

 

 

For zero offset use the Concentric Cone module

1. Large Diameter

 

Enter: Large Diameter Center Line

 

F6= / 25.4, F7= x 25.4

Rollback: F5= Current, Ctl+F5= All

2. Small Diameter

(Note: Use NOT less than thickness)

Enter: Small Diameter Center Line

 

F6= / 25.4, F7= x 25.4

Rollback: F5= Current, Ctl+F5= All

3. Frustum Height

(Note: Use NOT less than thickness)

Enter: Frustum Height Center Line

 

F6= / 25.4, F7= x 25.4

Rollback: F5= Current, Ctl+F5= All

4. Diameters Axis Offset

(Note: Use the Concentric Cone module for 0 offset)

Enter: Diameters Axis Offset

 

F8= 90 Deg Vertical Left Side

F6= / 25.4, F7= x 25.4

Rollback: F5= Current, Ctl+F5= All

5. Seam Rotation Angle  (Variant text)

(Note: If = 0)

Enter: Seam Rotation Angle

If Not 0 or 180 Degrees

Then +180 Layout Is Also Required

 

F8= Set To 180 Degrees

Rollback: F5= Current, Ctl+F5= All

6. Cut Path Deg Increment

(Note: Set to 1 for CNC cutting)

Enter: Cut Path Degree Increment Angle

Determines The Smoothness Of The Curve

Refer To The Table Below For Distances

 

Rollback: F5= Current, Ctl+F5= All

7. Material Thickness

 

Enter: Material Thickness

This Is Only Used For Weight Calculations

Enter Gauge Sizes With A 'g' Suffix

 

F6= / 25.4, F7= x 25.4

Rollback: F5= Current, Ctl+F5= All

8. Material Unit Weight   (Variant text)

(Note: If input Inches)

Enter: Material Unit Weight, lbs / Sq.Ft.

 

F8= 40.80 lbs / Sq.Ft. / 1"

Rollback: F5= Current, Ctl+F5= All

9. Lead In Distance

(Note: Set 0 for manual layout)

Enter: CNC Lead In Distance

 

F6= / 25.4, F7= x 25.4

Rollback: F5= Current, Ctl+F5= All

10. Break Allowance

(Note: Cut off after forming)

Enter: Segment Break Allowance

This Is Added To The Segment Blank

And Included In The Blank Weight

 

F6= / 25.4, F7= x 25.4

11. Segment Border

(Note: Set 0 for manual layout)

Enter: Segment Border

This Is Added To The Segment Blank

And Included In The Blank Weight
